MUSCLE STRENGTH ANALYSIS

MUSCLE STRENGTH ANALYSIS

What is Muscle Strength Analysis and How it Can Help You?

Muscle strength analysis can be used help in the injury diagnosis, assess muscle weakness, injury prevention, evaluate training effectiveness, set training goals and manage rehabilitation.

An equipment is used to assess muscle strength, with the knowledge and experience of our Chartered Physiotherapist. We can provide the results for each individual male a female, and report peak torque, the percentage of muscle strength imbalance between limbs, provide the ratio between muscle agonist and antagonist, and identify if the individual is under the normal strength for his age and sex.

The equipment results are as reliable as an isokinetic test (the gold standard for muscle analysis). The advantage is that the time to perform the test is much shorter and It can be performed anywhere.

How Long Does Ii Take To Have The Test Performed?

It takes approximately 15 minutes to perform the test in two muscle and two limbs.

When Can I Have My Results?

A report is produced with table and graphs and in your next appointment is ready for collection and data is discussed and a plan presented.  You can have the results send to you within 48 hours.
